Most people have no problem with water entering the ear while bathing. Ear infections are caused by the accumulation of bacteria that can drain the water from the tube. For most people, the pipes, in fact, a slight downward angle to facilitate drainage (downward since the opening of the ear, up the spine) I have a problem if the pipes are parallel reality shoulders, so that there remain constantly full of fluid. Therefore, I have a greater chance of infection, but only if I swim a lot (more than 3-4 times per week). If you are interested, you can use wax orange earplugs available at most stores. Is this your question have not answered correctly, consult your doctor, please.

when the water runs only on the ears and will not directley in them, you should be good .... But if you're really concerned that there are things sold in pharmacies and not like the ball of wax placed in the ear to keep water away too. I had to use it, even a towel to get out of the shower, so if you feel that it can water in the ear, clean it quickly
